November begins with the Sun in Scorpio, and Mercury newly in equestrian, adventurous Sagittarius, joined by Mars on November 4th. Mercury and Mars give us a higher persecutive on the deep diving that the Scorpio season always inspires. These planetary placements echo the larger theme of the current year of the snake, aligned with transformational Scorpio, that leads to the adventurous equestrian year of the horse in 2026  aligned with Sagittarius.

It’s time to pull in to the cocoon of transformation and shed the clutter and consciousness of the past to prepare us for a new year of daring action and wild adventure when we gallop into the year of the Horse in 2026

We begin the month on a waxing lunar tide that will culminate on November 5th with the Super Full Moon in Taurus, that illuminates where we are in the process of mental, emotional, material and fiscal transformation. It’s a perfect Super Full Moon to cultivate rock solid self worth as an organizing principle.

On November 6th lovely Venus heads into Scorpio to infuse our depth work, shadow work, decluttering, releasing, repairs and mergers with the invincible and transformative power of love. Venus invites us to release the past on waves of loving forgiveness and to send blessings to the ancestors whose gifts and struggles we inherit.

The Scorpio season always activates the reptile brain and survival patterns, including attachment patterns, that it is time to examine, transmute or release in the Light of Consciousness. The Scorpio Sun illuminates these patterns and the entire realm of the shadow comprised of the unconscious and traits we had to disown, but can now reclaim and integrate.

Saturn and Neptune begin the month retrograde in Pisces after taking their first steps into Aries this past spring, giving us a taste of the initiative required in the year to come. For now they are both calling us to review, revise, restructure or reconnect with the dreams and visionary projects we are committed to.  Uranus, the awakener, also begins the month retrograde in Gemini where he has been giving us coming attractions of the mental awakening and liberation that awaits us in the spring. Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus on November 7th inspiring us to finish up the evolutionary leaps, breakthroughs and upgrades of all things Taurus that have been in the works  since 2018.

Between now and April 25th when Uranus heads into Gemini, we are called to make fiscal, material upgrades that find expression in how we embody ourselves, inhabit our material lives and prosper. November is a fantastic month for revisiting projects involving textiles, stone, food, masonry, planting, investing,  building and fiscal plans. It’s also stellar for all levels of decluttering within the cocoon of transformation, in preparation for the new energy and lighter load required in the new year and beyond.

On November 9th Mercury stations retrograde at 2:02 PM EST, in philosophical Sagittarius, the sign of higher truths, and we are called within to review and revise ideas, travel plans, publishing projects and our overall mission. It is also time to update beliefs based on revealed inner or outer truths.

On November 11th, massive Jupiter joins the retrograde line up and stations retrograde in maternal domestic Cancer for months to come, inviting us to pull in to our creative womb, and review revise or attend to big projects, big inner developments, or domestic matters and emotional states that we want to bring forth when Jupiter stations direct again in March of 2026 when Jupiter stations direct.

On November 18th Mercury retrogrades back into Scorpio, to deepen our perceptions and awaken our emotional intelligence. It’s time to tune into our feelings and the needs they point to. It’s also time for more shadow work, soul retrieval, transformation and shedding that the year of the snake inspires.

The New Moon in Scorpio on 11/20 turbo charges our capacity to dive deep and make mental, emotional and material shifts that support our developing inner butterfly who is preparing to emerge a new creature when the time is right.

July saunters in on a sultry summer breeze, ready for some retrogrades, in search of a hammock, a mint tulip, and time to relax, restore and reflect. There are big possibilities swirling around, to be explored and incubated as the Moon waxes, and with Jupiter traveling with the Sun in maternal Cancer as the new month gets underway.

As July begins we are surfing the growing wave of fertile possibilities that began with the New Moon in Cancer on 6/25/25. It was an extraordinary New Moon for incubating, developing, and bringing forth big ideas, opportunities and possibilities to be hatched this summer and beyond. Jupiter moved into  Cancer on June 9th, initiating 12 months of epic gestation that nurtures big opportunities and possibilities regarding domestic matters and fertile possibilities for any area of our lives. The Universal Mother is back in a big way and invites us under the shelter of her mighty wings.

Jupiter in maternal Cancer calls us into the womb of expansive creativity for the next 12 months, but fertility is especially potent this month while the Sun is also traveling through the sign of the crab…The womb is actually and metaphorically the place that supports the fertile growth of all seed ideas, possibilities, enterprises and new life. This summer will find us incubating some of our biggest ideas and opportunities, especially as July’s retrogrades arrive, calling us inward in a sort of confinement,( which used to be a term for pregnancy,) to reflect on the dreams, goals and relationships we most want to pursue, inviting us to also release those that no longer apply.

On July 4th the retrogrades begin, when visionary Neptune puts his chariot in reverse in martial Aries, inviting us to reconsider the dreams we have been actively advancing since late March. Earlier on the 4th, lovely Venus heads into Gemini to nurture beautiful ideas, thinking, and loving gracious verbal expression.

On July 7th, Uranus leaves earthy Taurus, and heads into brilliant Gemini, joining Venus, to awaken our collective higher mind, intuition, higher love, and innovative genius for months to come. It is sure to be a summer of revelations, flashes of insight, and Aha moments!

On July 13th, Saturn joins Neptune, and stations retrograde in Aries, inviting us into a weighty review of long term plans, business goals, and  a review of our commitment to dreams and visions that may be shifting or even reversing this summer.

The Full Moon in Capricorn on the 10th, illuminates big fertile, ideas, plans, and enterprises that we are committed to. It’s a perfect night to connect with what we are willing to carry to completion. This Full Moon also illuminates the inner father and inner mother, inviting us to cultivate a good relationship to both. They can also help us nurture and create some boundaries for the very young Aries energy that has been cresting with Neptune and Saturn both in Aries.

On July 18th, Mercury stations retrograde in fiery, creative Leo, Mercury will be guiding us through the secret chambers of our hearts, inviting us to reconnect with our passion, creativity and the bliss we came here to follow. Mercury will station direct on August 11th, and we will be in the opposite shadow till August 25th. It’s time to cocoon with our hearts and reconnect with our inner child, inner artist and inner lover who can guide us to all that we truly love. On July 22nd, the Sun rides his Golden Chariot into Leo, his home sign, illuminating the path to romantic and creative fulfillment, providing us with the courage to pursue both, now that Mercury has given us some clarity that unites our hearts and minds.

On July 24th the New Moon in Leo traveling with Mercury, begins her growing journey through the early degrees of Leo traveling with Pluto in Aquarius in an exact opposition to the New Moon. This promises to be a turbo charged New Moon, with more of a Full Moon feeling that is guiding us down memory lane, to release old heartaches as we review powerful ideas, transformations and collaborations that are calling to us. This New Moon invites us to incubate our creative gold to share with the world when the time is right.

On July 30th Venus heads into maternal Cancer, to nurture us with the love of the Universal Mother who keeps us under the loving shelter of her wings as the month winds down. March flows in on a powerful growing current that began with the New Moon in Pisces on February 27th, that included 5 planets and the north node in spiritual, visionary Pisces. This New Moon opened a path to our dreams and visions by Divine Design that are calling to us. It’s time to answer the call.

This month includes 2 powerful retrogrades in Aries that will help us to reconnect with our dreams, and prepare us for the upcoming larger movements of titanic Neptune and Saturn. Both will be taking their first steps into Aries in years this spring, inviting further committed action to advance beloved dreams and intelligent strategies to achieve them.

The month begins with the waxing Moon cruising through daring Aries, as Venus stations retrograde in Aries on March 1st calling us into a month of dynamic retrogrades. Venus, leads the planetary pack this month,  calling us back to our hearts, and the flame of love burning within us. That love is awaiting our return, and the reconnection to our true selves and the bliss that is ours to follow.

Venus, the planet of beauty and love is encouraging us to actively go within, and cruise down memory lane, in search of the passion, love, and beauty that make life worth living. She invites us to be brave, and recover our power, self worth and initiative when it comes to love, life, art, and affairs of the heart. Her retrograde begins at the 10th degree of Aries, ( where much activity occurs this month) then heads back into visionary Pisces later this month, inviting us to rekindle the flame of passion that leads us to our bliss. Our bliss in turn, calls us to the dreams and visions we are meant to embody, manifest or otherwise create during this lifetime.

On March 3rd, Mercury leaves visionary Pisces, and heads into brilliant Aries to inspire our most strategic, daring, thinking and ideas. It is time to recalibrate our thinking with an eye to the ideas, plans and relationships that Venus has begun to reconnect us with. Mercury brings rational discernment, strategic planning and logistics to be considered with all that we are reviewing, revising, recovering or releasing. This month we are uniting the heart and head to effectively follow our bliss.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 14th, will illuminate much that requires healing, organizing and refining in our lives, including the logistics of dreams and visionary ideas we are committed to. The very next day on March 15th, Mercury retrogrades at 9 degrees of Aries, only one degree from where Venus began her retrograde on March 1st. Mercury will also back into Pisces, during his retrograde, following Venus’s trajectory that invites us to first follow our hearts, back to our true love and passion, then to the dreams that align with both. Mercury will help us with logistics and intelligent plans to move us toward our blissful joy of living, and the action plans that align with our dreams.

On March 20th The Sun enters Aries for the Vernal Equinox and spring officially begins. The Aries Sun always calls us forward to act, even as Venus and Mercury call us inward and backward on an active journey to reclaim ourselves and all that we love most. Spring begins on a wave of reflection that deepens us and our love on March 27th, when Venus retrogrades out of Aries, and back into Pisces, calling us to our highest love and most beloved visions.

The 28th is a powerful day of planetary conjunctions between the Moon and Saturn, the Moon and Venus, the Moon and Neptune, and the Moon and Mercury inviting us to nurture the dreams, visions, relationships, ideas, and the flame of love, that needs to be nurtured in our souls in preparation for the New Moon on the very next day.

The New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29th occurs at the 9th degree of Aries, one degree from where Venus began her retrograde, and exactly where Mercury began his retrograde. It is time to move forward on our heroic courageous journey, to follow our bliss and face any fears we must confront as we do so. Later that night Mercury retrogrades back into Pisces, calling our minds back into the realm of spirituality, vision and imagination.

The month ends with Neptune, the ruler of Pisces heading into Aries on March 30th, for the first time in decades…It is time to begin acting on the dreams, visions and enlightenment we have been dreaming up. In May, Saturn will also head into Aries for the first time in two and a half years, inviting us to act on the dreams and ideas we are clear about…We can view this month of retrogrades as the wind up for these bigger, weightier planets, that will echo the call  to heroic action in pursuit of our bliss! We must first know what that bliss is, which Venus and Mercury are inviting us to reconnect with this very month!

It’s a beautiful month to spend time on Vision Quest or Vision Mapping. Spend time in prayer and meditation seeking vision. Light candles and meditate on the flame of love within your heart and soul. Connect with your inner spiritual warrior who fears nothing and dares all, in the service of following true bliss.

They are mystical singers of songs that can call us of back to the deep memory required during this month of retrogrades and on our earth walk. Whale’s sound vibration is healing and can call us to the right mate, or community with whom to build our dreams. On January 2nd, lovely Venus, headed into Pisces the sign of her exaltation to deepen our love and our capacity for compassion, forgiveness and inspired beautiful visionary expression. On January 6th, Mars retrograded out of fiery Leo and back into soulful domestic Cancer, providing us with muscle and energy to deploy on renovations and housekeeping projects. It’s also a good time to be on guard against family fights, and rather connect with feelings and needs regarding family matters or conflicts, to find constructive ways to negotiate and express them.

 

On January 8th, Mercury, heads into Capricorn, inspiring us to hone our executive intelligence, define goals, and take the steady disciplined actions required to achieve them. Mercury will be inspiring us to commit to gentle mental boot camp, and submit to a meditation or mental practice that nurtures our capacity to concentrate and focus, especially on the goals we are committed to.

 

The Full Moon in Cancer on the 13th is traveling with Mars and could bring up anger or other disowned feelings that have been simmering right beneath the surface of our consciousness. Take note of what surfaces, as it will illuminate some of the emotional shedding of ancestral and family patterns that can be done as the Moon wanes and beyond.

 

On January 19th the Sun heads into Aquarius, and will join with Pluto in Aquarius on the 21st, to turbo charge our evolutionary powers. Pluto in Capricorn from 2008-2024 invited us to explore systemic corruption slithering around in the basement of global corporate and governmental power structures. Now that Pluto is in Aquarius, the sign of revelations, much of this will come to light…in this year of the snake. We are each now called to seek our personal liberation from deeply ingrained patterns that have kept us from the pursuit of our happiness and from giving our authentic unique gifts to the waiting world. It’s shedding time so we can shine!

 

On January 27th, Mercury heads into Aquarius, inspiring our mental freedom, which usually precedes all other forms of freedom. The next day, the waning Aquarius Moon will join up with Mercury, then Pluto in Aquarius, inviting us to shed whatever is mentally, emotionally, energetically or in any other way, keeping us from lift off to higher levels of consciousness. 

 

On 1/28/2025 seven planets will align in the night sky, five visible to the naked eye including Saturn, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Mars, (Neptune and Uranus are also in the mix) somewhat reminiscent of the Hair Musical lyrics to The Dawning of the Age of Aquarius anthem…Jupiter will in fact align with Mars, and hope abounds that Peace will guide the planets and Love will steer the stars…..This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius…..And so on. May it be so, but this year we each have work to do to awaken, shed outworn patterns, and get to higher ground so we can truly usher in the New Age.

November begins with an energetic bang! The New Moon in Scorpio on November 1st gets the day and the month off to a powerful start, and sets the tone for the month of November as a month of epic change! Scorpio is the sign of transformation, ancestors, power, energy, intimacy, sexuality, shared resources, death and rebirth. It is the sign of deepest feeling and the realm of the shadow, that we must confront in order to make the unconscious conscious. This is not easy territory but all leaps of consciousness require it.

Saturn stations direct in Pisces, at  9:20 AM EDT, on the morning of the Taurus Full Moon which occurs at 4:28 PM EDT on 11/15/2024. Saturn’s move is a big planetary pivot, that invites us to slowly begin advancing the dreams and visionary goals we are committed to that we have been incubating, or revising for months.

The Full Moon in Taurus on November 15th is traveling one degree from Uranus, the planet of evolution, awakening and sudden change, illuminating the evolutionary upgrades we have been able to embody, manifest and monetize. There may be a whole lot of inner or outer shakin going on as Uranus tends to disrupt the status quo as he awakens us and calls us to new heights of consciousness.

The 16th looks great for taking quantum leaps, that lead us into the evolving butterfly states we are working toward as the Scorpio Sun partners with Uranus. The 17th look great for further evolution and advancing big brilliant ideas as the Gemini Moon join up with Jupiter. On the 20th the Leo Moon joins up with Mars to turbo charge our creativity, courage and power to lead with heart!

On the 21st as Luna wanes, the Sun heads into wise, adventurous Sagittarius, to illuminate the path to abundance, gratitude wisdom and a Higher Perspective. As the month winds down and Luna wanes, Mercury stations retrograde on 11/25 at 9:42 PM EDT at 22 degrees of Sagittarius, calling us inward to reflect, rethink, revise and review our thinking, beliefs and publishing ideas and travel plans for weeks to come. Mercury will station direct again on December 15th at 6 degrees Sagittarius. We will be in the opposite shadow till January 2nd. inviting us to make needed changes as the New Year begins.

Thanksgiving comes on 11/28 inviting us inward to reflect on the magnitude of wealth we each possess with hearts full of gratitude as November winds down.

September, a month of golden perfection, the slow release of summer, and preparation for return to school and work, this year begins with a flurry of potent planetary activity, as two powerful planets make retrograde moves.

On September 1st, Pluto the planet of power and transformation, leaves liberating Aquarius, and backs into executive responsible Capricorn, inspiring close to two months of structural transformation, review and some reversals in our businesses, lives, and on the world stage. Capricorn, the sign of world leaders, people in high places, banking, corporations and the structures that support life and the world is in the final sweep of transformational activity that began in 2008 when Pluto entered Capricorn and the markets crashed.

On September 4th, Mars leaves quick witted Gemini, and heads into soulful maternal Cancer inspiring us to act on domestic and family plans. The next few weeks are great for nesting and preemptive fall cleaning. It’s a beautiful time to connect with our roots and honor the ancestors.

On September 9th, Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, leaves heart centered Leo, and heads into analytical Virgo, the sign of his exaltation, to inspire our best critical and analytical thinking till 9/26th when he heads into Libra to nurture our mental balance and verbal poise.

August begins on a waning lunar tide and in the shadow of Mercury’s upcoming retrograde, that we are already feeling. The New Moon in Leo on August 4th, begins a growing cycle that invites us to explore creative, romantic, and recreational pursuits that we would love to advance.

The Leo New Moon chart, cast for Washington DC, is a triple Leo, with the Sun, Moon and Leo rising in the middle degrees of Leo, and Venus also in Leo at the very last degree of the sign, indicating that it is time to be courageous and step up to the plate of life and love. with courage and fortitude as we dare to follow our creative and romantic bliss, and be the leaders we were meant to be.

 

Later in the day Venus heads into Virgo for the retrograde, which occurs on the very next day, August 5th, when Mercury, the planet of thought and communication stations retrograde in Virgo, while traveling with Venus, indicating that we are not quite ready to advance the heart centered plans that are calling to us.

We are especially called to review our thinking and plans regarding relationships, love, healing, and how to be fair, practical and realistic regarding all that we are considering. We are called to analyze, organize and reflect on how best to refine our plans, and our thinking, with  the help of Heavenly Guidance, as we review plans and ideas that we feel passionate about, but that require intelligent discernment as we assess logistics. Virgo, the sign of service, also asks us to reflect on what is served by our plans, the head, the heart, the ego or the Highest Good and Greater Good?

 

Mercury’s retrograde begins in Mercury ruled Virgo, the diagnostic healer of the zodiac, then on August 14th, Mercury backs into Leo where he will station direct on August 28th. The Leo season always calls us into the heart where Love is always beating, inviting us to synchronize with that beat, by connecting with our love, our courage, our talent, and our passion, to energize us, and light us up! Leo is also the sign of inner Kingship and Queenship, which awakens our inner sovereign, who can assist us in stepping up to our true greatness, while inspiring us to use it to access our Higher Self, and serve others with courage, love, and humility. 

The entire month of August is a great time to align our minds with this deeper far more powerful Force that is beating within us. This particular lunar cycle and retrograde gives us ample opportunity to nurture our analytical brilliance, and deploy it to recovering to exploring all that requires healing in our lives and all that will reconnect us with our true vision and our deepest passion.

 

On August 14th as the Moon is growing, Mercury retrogrades back into Leo, and the review that began in Virgo moves from our heads to our hearts. Meanwhile, on that same day, Mars joins up with Jupiter in Gemini, inviting us to put some muscle into the big ideas and plans we are developing. the 14th, the Sagittarius Moon and Jupiter partner to expand our thinking, our wisdom and our emotional intelligence. Both Saturn and Neptune are retrograde all month in visionary Pisces, calling us into a weighty executive and spiritual vision quest, as we grapple with the details and logistics that will achieve them. On the 20th, the Pisces Moon and Saturn retrograde join up to nurture our commitment to our dreams and our capacity to achieve them. On the 21st the Pisces Moon and spiritual Neptune join forces, inviting us to seek Divine Guidance regarding our dreams. On  August 22nd, the Sun enters Virgo and the Virgo Season begins. On August 29th, lovely Venus enters Libra, one of her home signs, the sign of beauty and balance, to restore our equilibrium. The Sun, Jupiter, Uranus and lovely Venus, the planetary ruler of Taurus are all in the sign of the bull as the month begins, making this an especially lovely, abundant and unpredictable month that offers offers expansive opportunities and breakthroughs.

May glides in on the waxing Lunar tide that began with the total Solar Eclipse in Aries, giving us much to process and review. We are still in the shadow of the Mercury Retrograde in Aries that began on March 1st giving us further cause for reflection and revisions till May 13th when we leave the shadow. On April 8th the New Moon/ Total Solar Eclipse in Aries begins a turbo charged lunar cycle that deepens the call inwards and reveals what is lurking in the shadows of our sense of self that requires healing. This eclipse illuminates issues of war and peace, anger, assertion, wounds to the self, our capacity to take initiative, our relationship patterns, and all that keeps us from advancing toward our goals and living fully

During this immensely powerful eclipse, Chiron the healer is fused to the Aries Moon and Sun reminding us that the wound is where the Light enters us. We can invite the inner inextinguishable Light to illuminate the path to healing and to living fully. Mercury retrograde is also traveling with this eclipse calling us to actively review plans, ideas and projects, release false beliefs about relationships and recover or reconnect to what we lost along the way. Set powerful healing intentions on the day before and after the New Moon in Aries that restore your power, initiative and lead to success.

A day later on 4/20 Jupiter the massive planet of expansion and Uranus, the planet of awakening, elevation and liberation join forces in an exact conjunction that will not happen again till 2037, expanding our capacity to embody high frequency evolutionary changes that we have been seeking. This is also an amazing aspect for profitable breakthrough ideas, projects, products and possibilities. This is the biggest astrological event of the year and signals a collective leap of consciousness. Prepare with meditation and actively seeking highest consciousness.

On April 23rd the Scorpio Full Moon illuminates the empowering changes we are undertaking, and brings the eclipse corridor to its creshendo. Two days later Mercury stations direct at 16 degrees of Aries and we can begin to advance revised plans and advance further healing required. We will be in the opposite shadow of the Mercury retrograde till May 13th..

On April 30th as the month ends, Mars enters Aries, his home sign, to energize our now forward moving plans with the resolve, confidence and fortitude of the warrior as we head into May.

March glides in on the waning lunar tide that began after the Full Moon in Virgo on February 24th. That Full Moon brought to light health issues, daily habits and the practical actions required to manifest the luminous inspired dreams, and visionary ideas we are committed to. As we glide into March the Sun traveling with Saturn and Mercury, all in oceanic Pisces, the final sign of the zodiac, assists us in releasing what stands in the way of our beloved visions and the strengthening our conscious connection to the Loving Source that animates our lives, and inspires our dreams. Neptune is also traveling through visionary Pisces in the later degrees, inviting us to open to our visions by Divine Design that are calling to us this month.

 

The first week of March as Luna wanes, is a great time to align with the oceanic Pisces energy that knows just how to release what it is time to let go of on the outgoing tide…We will have a great deal of energetic support in releasing outworn dreams, outgrown habits, and all that no longer serves us, on March 6th, when the Aquarius Moon merges forces with transformational Pluto, offering powerful energetic support from beloved friends, allies, community and the Higher Self, that assists us, both what we are releasing, and what we are dreaming up. On March 9th, the Pisces Moon merges forces with executive Saturn to help us release dreams that it’s time to let go of, and to nurture our capacity to crystalize and manifest the dreams and visions we are comitted to, in advance of the New Moon in Pisces on the very next day.

 

On March 10th, the Super New Moon in Pisces begins a powerful lunar cycle for actively manifesting our dreams. On this New Moon, Saturn, the New Moon, the Pisces Sun and visionary Neptune are traveling together like a pod of dolphins in search of our inspired brilliance and beloved visions in the river of dreams that is now flowing into our awakening consciousness. Mercury at the zero degree of Aries, also travels with them, providing energizing light, like a single ruby on a strand of aquamarines, that activates our power to take initiative, and manifest the dreams that we feel called upon to bring forth!

All of these planets as well as Chiron, and the North Node in Aries are found in the material sector of the chart, calling us to take action to tangibly manifest the dreams we are committed to. February begins with the Sun approaching the  the 10th degree of Aquarius, illuminating the path of liberation, elevation and true fellowship that are open to us, as mighty Pluto keeps his focus on the first degree of Aquarius clearing the way for the Aquarian Age that we are poised to enter. This year the Sun and Pluto entered Aquarius together back on January 20th, indicating that we the people are called for a collective awakening, liberation and empowerment that requires an encounter with the collective shadow.

 

As February begins the Moon is waning after the powerful Full Moon in Leo, back on January 25th that was opposed by Pluto and the Sun in Aquarius, which illuminated the path to our hearts, while also illuminating what has bound us personally and collectively, and kept us from our authentic heart centered expression and contribution. On the 1st of February, at 3:37 PM EST, the Moon glides into Scorpio’s depths to illuminate all that we need to confront, and integrate in our personal and collective shadow so we can be mature, responsible, liberated adults. The focus on maturity is further emphasized this month with Mercury, Venus and Mars traveling through Capricorn, the sign of the executive disciplined intrepid goat, who reminds us that nothing worthwhile is accomplished without commitment, consistent, disciplined effort and devotion.The first week of February looks stellar for crystalizing and clearly defining the goals and beloved relationships we are committed to, while making use of the abundance of Capricorn energy.

 

On February 5th Mercury dons his winged sandals and flies up into the elevated intellectual frequencies of Aquarius where he joins up with Pluto who is shining a light on all that binds us in our depths. Mercury and Pluto will also be turbo charging our minds, providing the highest perspective on blocks and the shadow while awakening brilliant empowering high frequency ideas.

 

The New Moon in Aquarius on February 9th, invites another step into the Aquarian Age as the Sun and Moon merge at 20 degrees Aquarius joined by Mercury and Pluto at the earlier degrees. This line up is all in the sector or healing, work viewed as service and refinement, inviting us to find the people, practices and groups with whom to heal, get free and collaborate on projects that call to us. Meanwhile Venus and Mars the lovers travel hand in hand through Capricorn keeping us grounded and devoted to all that we love enough to commit to with steadfast perseverance.

 

On February 13th Mars heads into Aquarius to join Pluto in shining a beam of Higher Light on all that has bound us, and on all that we project onto others: the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful. Mars will be providing the daring courage of the warrior to face and integrate the shadow, and the blank canvas of freedom, which through desired, can also be daunting. A few days later on February 16th, Venus will join Mars her consort providing the love that calls us to our freedom, to our love of humanity and to the pursuit of our authentic happiness, calling and contribution. Venus will also join us with Pluto on the 17th to infuse our shadow work with mighty love that can face all endure all and consecrate all inner work to the highest love and the greater good.

 

On the very next day, the 18th Higher Love gets a boost when the Sun glides into spiritual Pisces, illuminating the sea of dreams, compassion, and higher love that can dive into. The Pisces season invites us to connect with our dreams and begin building them. On February 23rd Mercury wades into the visionary waters of Pisces, inspiring our most visionary thinking and our most spiritual consciousness that it is time to seek. The Full Moon in Virgo on the 24th, illuminates the path to mental, physical and spiritual healing, inviting us to purify ourselves as instruments of Divine Light, Higher Love and practical service. We end the month on the waning lunar tide that invites us to release into that waning tide all that stands in the way of our personal and collective evolution.

 

The Totem for the month is the Eagle, who flies at the altitude of freedom, yet is also associated with the Alchemical process associated with Pluto, newly flying through the heights of Aquarius.

The New Year and new month begin with Mercury stationing direct in Sagittarius on January 1st after weeks of retrograde travel, inviting us to get our minds in forward gear as we head into the New Year. The year glides in on a waning lunar tide that culminated with the Full Moon in Cancer on 12/26/23 which illuminated family matters, mother issues and all things domestic. We will still be in the waning phase of that lunar cycle till the New Moon on 1/11/24, the New Moon in Capricorn that energetically begins a New Year that promises to be one filled with revelation, epic changes, dizzying heights, cavernous depths, and evolution that ushers us further in to the Age of Aquarius.

 

January, presided over by Capricorn, the mountain scaling goat and its ruling planet Saturn, is associated with Sacred Mountains and the long hard climb that leads to successful achievement. This January is the last January for the next 240 years or so, that Pluto, the god of the depths and the deep valleys of the soul, will be in Capricorn for the winter season. Pluto has been working since 2008 to reveal the collective shadow within personal and collective power structures, that has been holding up the Aquarian Age and the liberation of humanity.

 

We are coming out of a year characterized by at times as many as 7 planets in retrograde through the summer and autumn. Back in December Neptune and Jupiter peeled out of retrograde leaving Mercury, the planet of mind who stationed direct on the 1st (we will be in the opposite shadow till the 21st) and Uranus, the planet of liberation and higher Mind who will station direct on the 27th. By the end of this month all planets are moving forward and so are we!

 

It’s a stellar month to look within as we traverse the opposite shadow of Mercury’s retrograde, and see where we still need structural changes and further empowerment that Pluto has been inspiring in the basement of our psyche and the basement of the power structures of the world. Since depth is height, if we continue to face our personal and collective shadow, we will be propelled upward on the climb up the sacred mountain of  higher consciousness and toward our chosen beloved goals.

 

We will have planetary support with goals, intentions, business plans and all things executive on 1/4/24 when Mars heads into Capricorn, the exalted placement for Mars, to fuel our capacity to put our energy into practical goals and commitments. The New Moon in Capricorn on 1/11/2024 cast for Washington DC is a triple Capricorn! with the Sun, Moon and ascendant all in Capricorn, and Pluto traveling with the Moon for a turbo charged New Moon of revelation, transformation and executive empowerment for the last New Moon in Capricorn traveling with Pluto in Capricorn for 240 years!

Two days after the Capricorn New Moon, Mercury the planet of thought, heads into Capricorn, where he began his retrograde back in December. Mercury will be nurturing our executive intelligence, beloved goals and capacity to focus, commit and succeed. It’s a stellar time to set goals and create the structure that will support them. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, remains in visionary oceanic Pisces, invoking the mythical sea goat a creature of both land and sea. Saturn invites us to be visionary executives and practical dreamers this year. It is time to put a solid foundations beneath our dreams and visions.

 

This growing lunar cycle gets a massive energy shift on January 20th at 9:07 AM EST in the morning when the Sun heads into elevating, liberating Aquarius followed by Pluto at 7:50 PM EST. The Aquarius Sun and Pluto form an extremely potent planetary tag team that indicates a collective shift of consciousness is on the way. This illuminating awakening should have a liberating effect on humanity as a whole, provided we are willing to face shadowy, uncomfortable personal and collective truths.  We cannot be free till we become aware of what is binding us. Five days later the Full Moon in Leo will also be spotlighting truths and issues that we are ready to face and evolve out of. It’s time to free our hearts, our inner child, inner artist and create a world that supports the unfettered heart of humanity, our collective creative spirit of brilliance and innovation, and the innocence and freedom of the children of the world.

 

The biggest shift in the year ahead will be Pluto leaving Capricorn this month after transforming and revealing all that has been going on in the basement and underworld of the world and within our psyches since 2008. Pluto will begin shedding liberating light on all that we need to be free of, or aware of,  as he steps into the first degrees of Aquarius the sign of liberty, equality, and humanity. In September, Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn till November, inspiring us to dive deep once again after giving us a taste of the elevating heights of Aquarius. Once Pluto returns to Aquarius on November 19th, 2024 the true Age of Aquarius begins! This back and forth of Pluto is like the energetic contractions and birth pains as the New Age is born in the Light of Higher Truths.

 

The other big planetary shift of 2024 comes in May, when massive Jupiter will also change signs. On May 24th, Jupiter will leave beautiful constructive Taurus, and glides into quicksilver, intellectual Gemini, to expand our thinking and provide massive opportunities that come from writing, teaching, big ideas, and communication projects. This shift compliments Pluto in Aquarius who is also elevating and transforming our consciousness. It’s a stellar year to deepen, widen, elevate and expand our consciousness!

 

On January 27th, as the month comes to a close, Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, stations direct in earthy Taurus, after months of retrograde travel, inviting us into a February when all planets are traveling forward, inspiring us to advance goals and ideas as we embody energetic freedom and the ascent to higher consciousness that the Aquarian Age promises. It’s a perfect time to actively reach for higher ground and liberating, elevating solutions to all that bogs us down. Dare to embody and express your unique brilliance. No one else can!

December begins on a waning lunar tide that is receding after the Full Moon in Gemini on 11/27, which left us much to reflect on regarding our patterns of thought, feeling, and the beliefs, either true or false they have crystalized into. The Sun and Mars, are in the saddle and traveling together through equestrian, adventurous, wise Sagittarius, inspiring great daring and plenty of energy to harness and use to take aim at the goals, desires, adventures and projects that we most want to pursue.

Sagittarius the sign of mythology, stories, travel, wisdom, higher learning, publishing, philosophy and intellectual freedom, loves all forms of exploration that increase our margins of knowledge, understanding, and actual terrain. Sagittarius invites us to explore the stories that give life meaning, and invites us to view our own life as a mythic adventure, casting ourselves as the hero or heroine of our unfolding story.

It’s a fantastic month to actively pursue travel plans, studies, myths and projects that excite and delight us, reflecting on where we are in the unfolding epic story of our lives.

Mercury, the planet of thought, defines much of the astrological focus this month. He leaves Sagittarius on December 1st, and heads into executive, responsible Capricorn, where he will station retrograde on December 13th, inspiring weeks of reviewing, rethinking and reconnecting with big ideas, goals, commitments, and professional projects that we intend to pursue in the New Year.  Mercury’s retrograde in Capricorn, also invites us to review with the habits, structural support, and self discipline, required to achieve success.

 

Mercury will retrograde back into Sagittarius on December 23rd, inspiring a review of our mission statements for business and life, along with the beliefs, myths and higher truths that give our lives meaning. The Winter Solstice on 12/21/2023 invites us into a winter of executive review, asking us to reflect on our true commitments, and the visions that we intend to manifest along with the philosophy that drives our visions and our sense of success. On the winter solstice the Sun heads into disciplined Capricorn, joining Mercury retrograde in Capricorn and transformational Pluto at the end of Capricorn, inviting us into a winter of review, transformation and some weighty reversals. It’s a perfect season to cultivate maturity, and commitment to our deepest sense of duty. 

 

Pluto spends his last full month in Capricorn this December till September of 2024 when he will be back for his final months before leaving Capricorn, the sign of executive intelligence, corporations, celebrities, the financial markets, governments, heads of state and people in high places for 248 years. We can expect some revelations and powerful changes this year as Pluto continues to illuminate what has been lurking in the shadows of the world’s power structures. It’s a great month to take stock of the structural changes you have made in life and business since 2008, and those you are committed to continue making.

 

The Full Moon in Cancer on 12/26/2023 illuminates the path to emotional security and domestic peace and tranquility. On December 29th Venus leaves Scorpio’s depths and puts her dainty foot in the stirrup of Sagittarius, inspiring our love of beautiful, jovial cultural adventure as the year winds down. On December 30th Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius stations direct in earthy gorgeous Taurus, inspiring forward motion regarding our biggest, most beautiful plans as the New Year begins.

 

The totem of the month as the Sun and Mars travel through mythic Sagittarius is Pegasus (see image above) the mythical winged horse from Greek mythology, who can fly between realms, (useful during a Mercury retrograde as we explore higher consciousness, subconsciousness, everyday consciousness and the realm of imagination.) Pegasus can create spring water with his hooves (helpful when on a mountain trail, the trail of our dreams or any trail) and his wings clap like thunder when he is angry! ( I can think of many scenarios where this super power could come in handy!) He also retrieves lighting bolts, a dandy power to harness!

 

 

It’s a gorgeous month to deck yourself in turquoise and lapis lazuli. Delight in shades of Blue symbolic of the azure skies that Jupiter, the planetary ruler of Sagittarius, presides over. Prepare your home with beauty, warmth and waves of gratitude for the winter season. Delight in the bracing winds, candle light, roaring fires, the holidays, stories, myths and adventures. November glides in on the current of the waning lunar tide that began after the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on 10/28, that brought the October eclipse corridor to its culmination. The ring of Fire Solar Eclipse in Libra on 10/14 that unbalanced the world, and the Full Moon eclipse in Taurus, left us much to review, release, transform and reflect upon. The first two weeks of November, as Luna wanes her way out of the tail end of the eclipse corridor, is an excellent time for doing some deep diving to determine what we must ruthlessly release or heal, so we can embrace the big opportunities that Jupiter in Taurus is, and will be providing.

 

The Scorpio season is well underway as November begins, with the Sun, Mercury, and Mars, the ruler of Scorpio, in Scorpio, to turbo charge our transformational abilities. Mercury is inspiring our deepest insight and capacity to peer beneath the surface and face feelings, fears, motivations and outworn patterns of thought and feeling that no longer serve us. Mars, is providing us with the energetic fuel to face the dragons of our fears and dare to make changes that are required if we want something different and better. 

 

The first big planetary event of November, comes on the 4th, when Saturn stations direct in Pisces after months of retrograde travel. Saturn has been traveling retrograde since June, providing us with plenty of time to review, revise, rethink or reconnect with visionary goals and dreams. It is time now to crystalize the visions we are clear about, and take practical action to begin to adjust and advance them. We are called to be executive visionaries, and put a foundation beneath our dreams.

 

Mercury will be in Scorpio till November 10th, when he saddles up in Sagittarius, to give us a higher perspective, and a needed reprieve from our depths. Mars remains in Scorpio till November 24th, to keep our energetic focus on epic decluttering, deep healing and deepening our capacity for true intimacy and mutually empowering mergers. Venus begins the month in Virgo, assisting us in getting organized, and properly diagnosing any healing required in our lives. On November 8th, she heads into Libra, one of her home signs, to nurture our beauty, poise, diplomatic skill, and our capacity to restore the balance that the eclipse corridor may have disrupted. Venus will be encouraging peace within us and in the world at large for weeks to come.

 

The New Moon in Scorpio on Monday, November 13th, traveling with Mars and partnering with evolutionary Uranus, begins a new cycle of empowerment and turbo charges our capacity for evolutionary transformation. This always requires releasing and dissolving the past, like the caterpillar in the cocoon, before new butterfly wings can begin to grow. The week after the New Moon looks especially good for making empowering changes in our lives. As the Scorpio Sun and Moon take turns merging with Mars and Pluto to turbo charge our transformational powers.

 

On November 22nd, the Sun leaves transformational Scorpio, and rides his solar chariot into wise, jovial Sagittarius, to illuminate the path to wisdom, truth, adventure and gratitude, just in time for Thanksgiving, the following day. On the 24th Mars saddles up and joins the Sun and Mercury in a planetary posse that is riding through the sign of the archer, inviting us to take aim at our highest goals and greatest adventures as we ride into the holiday season.

 

The Full Moon in Gemini on November 27th, sheds rational light on our deepest patterns of thought and feeling, showing us where we still need to adjust how we habitually think, and the effect of thought on our emotional states. This Full Moon also illuminates our most beautiful, brilliant, profitable ideas and the actions required to advance and complete them. We end the month on waning lunar cycle, just as we began it, that helps us build in the insights gleaned through the growing lunar cycle, as we clear the way for the next one. 

 

It’s a stellar month to embrace change and dare to cultivate trust in the Divine Providence that carries the caterpillar through its miraculous changes. Enjoy the intense beauty that Scorpio is an expression of. To inspire yourself, read about people who have made miraculous changes and transformations in their lives. Rather than fearing the reaper, notice how nature is always reborn. Scorpio the sign of the ancestors invites us to light candles and cultivate an ongoing relationship with loved ones on the other side of the veil, through prayer and blessings which travel faster than the speed of Light and are impervious to any boundary of time space or dimension. 

 

Totem of the Month: In honor of the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus that kicked off Scorpio season we take the Luna Moth as the totem of the month. It goes through the same transformational cycle from caterpillar to butterfly, but symbolizes change, transformation, intuition, the Divine Feminine, spiritual enlightenment, inner guidance, new approaches to nurturing and adaptability. These creatures also symbolize good luck. May that good fortune find you and bless you through the evolutionary changes you make this month.

 

 

 

It’s a gorgeous month to wear intense colors, especially deep blue green and enjoy the intense beauty of November Sunsets, the change of the seasons and even the lessening of daylight. Light candles in your home. Beautiful your hearth and home with bouquets, harvest gourds and autumn bouquets. Make gorgeous chances in your life, your home and your person. Be the radiant Light, that illuminates the world as we head into the dark months.

October glides in on the waning lunar tide that is preparing us for the eclipse corridor that we are fast approaching. The outgoing Lunar tide began after the Full Moon in Aries on September 29th, which sets the stage for the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Libra on 10/14. The Full Moon in Aries, illuminated our deepest wounds, and how they manifest within our relationships, as well as our capacity for healing those wounds, and our attachment patterns. The Full Moon in Aries also illuminated actions needed in order to face conflict and heal, as well as with our biggest healing contribution to the world, within works of art and acts of love. 

 

As the month begins we are finally out of the shadow of Mercury’s retrograde in Virgo, but still in the shadow of Venus retrograde in Leo for another week. The Sun and Mars are cruising through beautiful poised Libra, illuminating the path to beauty and reciprocal relationships, while inviting us to deploy the strength, fortitude and courage of the inner warrior to cultivate unshakable poise and the ability quickly return to balance when we feel triggered, unbalanced or provoked. On October 4th Mercury will leave Virgo, the sign of his recent retrograde, and head into Libra, inspiring mental balance, verbal poise and harmonious, diplomatic communication through October 22nd, when he heads into Scorpio to nurture our deep emotional intelligence.

 

Venus, the ruler of Libra, continues her glide through Leo, where she has been igniting our passion and re lighting the flame of love in our hearts since late July when she stationed retrograde in the sign of the mighty lion. On October 8th, she will head into beautiful, practical pristine Virgo, to help us implement the adjustments required to follow our radiant bliss that was illuminated while she traveled through Leo from June 5th-October 8th.

 

On October 10th Pluto, the planet of power and transformation, stations direct in executive Capricorn, after months of retrograde travel that began back in May. Pluto has been illuminating the need for executive, administrative, and structural changes in our lives. It is time to slowly begin to make those changes going forward. 

 

Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Chiron and Eris are still traveling retrograde this month, inspiring further reflection, reconnection and revision. 

Jupiter and Uranus both retrograde in earthy, constructive Taurus, are inspiring review, reconnection and revision regarding big plans, upgrades and quantum leaps in our fiscal, emotional and material lives. It’s a great time to reclaim our self worth and new ways of embodying our beauty, and review projects and efforts that involve the use of technology.

 

Saturn and Neptune are both retrograde in visionary spiritual Pisces this month, inviting us to open to, review, or reconnect with our Vision by Divine Design. It’s a great month to vision map, and review dreams and plans for soundness, and for the depth of our true commitment. 

 

Eris the planet of discord and of disowned parts is also retrograde, and traveling close to the Moon’s North Node in Aries, along with Chiron the wounded healer also in Aries, inspiring a potentially healing time to be brave and do the shadow work of integrating parts of ourselves we tend to disown. 

 

On October 14th, the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Libra, brings the possibility of new dynamics into partnerships. If we spend the first two weeks of October doing some inner clearing, and healing core wounds and attachment patterns, we will be ready to begin exploring new dynamics and returning to balance and poise as needed. This eclipse highlights the need for new approaches to communication especially within partnerships.

On 10/22/23 Mercury heads into deep, penetrating Scorpio, to illuminate deep inner emotional patterns that are a result of habitual thought patterns and core beliefs, some of which require updating. On the very next day 10/23/23 the Sun joins Mercury in Scorpio, to illuminate our depths and the hidden talents and buried treasure that it is time to retrieve as we also integrate disowned shadow parts.

 

As we advance through the waxing cycle after the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Libra, we will have the opportunity to deepen with ourselves, partners and loved ones when the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on 10/28/23 assists us in releasing emotional patterns that no longer serve us, so we can say yes to the big beautiful opportunities that are blossoming as we deepen our capacity for true intimacy and mutually profitable mergers. This is a great time for epic decluttering on all levels and for healing from trauma. (See links below) It is also a beautiful time to reflect on the big beauty and bounty we want to manifest, build and grow in our lives.

The Summer winds down on a wave of energy that calls us inward, where the spiritual kingdom is found, to reflect. There are six planets retrograde as the month begins, seven if we include Chiron that amplify the need to go inward. September is always a transitional month, ruled by pristine Virgo, a mutable sign that presides over the end of summer, the ripening of the fields and preparing for Autumn.

APRIL 2023

April begins with the Aries Sun awakening the spring season along with Mercury, Chiron and mighty Jupiter all in Aries, inspiring big bold, healing, ideas and daring action to advance them.  Mars, the ruler of Aries spends the entire month in soulful, domestic Cancer, awakening our true desires on the domestic front, while providing plenty of energy with which to attack spring cleaning, and nurture the family relationships we hold dear. Mars in Cancer also assists our inner development, providing the courage to face and identify emotional patterns that require our healing attention.
