THE DAILY PLANET ~ MONDAY FEBRUARY 20TH: Blessings of the New Moon in Pisces to All! Today at 2:06 AM EST, Luna begins her new fertile cycle through spiritual, visionary Pisces, the last sign of winter, and of the zodiac, ending the cycle of life, while calling us back to the Source. This New Moon nurtures our imagination, which precedes all manifestation. We must imagine something, before we can dream it up, or bring it into being. 

In the New Moon chart cast for Washington DC, the national chart, the New Moon occurs at the first degree of Pisces, and travels in a tight embrace with Saturn at the second to last degree of Aquarius, in the sector of thought and communication, lending some executive weightiness to this New Moon. 

We are being called to crystalize the dreams, and visionary ideas we are committed to, and cultivate the discipline, realism and structure, required to see them through. Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, is also found in this sector, though at the later degrees of Pisces, traveling conjunct Venus, just in the domestic sector of the chart. This line up  blesses our minds, with waves of compassion, and higher love for family, while awakening beautiful, loving, visionary ideas for home and family. 

Jupiter, the ancient ruler of Pisces, is traveling conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, in the home sector of the chart. Both planets are in Aries, awakening our active desire to expand our thinking about domestic possibilities and attend to big healing of ancestral wounds and family dynamics.

Pluto at the final degree of executive Capricorn is in the fiscal material sector of the chart transforming and empowering our approach to finance and to all things material, inviting us to put a financial foundation beneath our dreams. Pluto is trining the midheaven in Virgo, indicating that attending to fiscal and material plans leads to tangible, visionary success.

Mercury in Aquarius is also in this sector, inviting us to think outside the box and explore potentially profitable group efforts and networking activities.

Mercury in Aquarius is trining Mars in Gemini in the partnership sector of the New Moon chart, indicating that partnerships in which we share ideas, values and innovative enterprises, also look mutually fulfilling and profitable.
