THE DAILY PLANET ~ SATURDAY OCTOBER 24TH: Mercury Retrograde! The waxing Moon is gliding through Aries, giving us plenty of get up and go, with which to take action to advance, desires, goals and dreams. Meanwhile, in the pre-Dawn hours at 3:13 AM EDT Mercury stations retrograde at 20° Scorpio, Initiating a rational and emotional deep dive through the past and through the depths of the soul. Venus began her retrograde in Scorpio back on October 3 inviting us to reflect on who and what we truly, deeply love, and how we love.
Today Mercury, the planet of the rational mind is inviting us to bring some detachment and intelligence into our reflection regarding our intimate lives, attachment patterns, and the entire realm of the shadow, both the dark and the light, that we need to either integrate or reclaim. This is also a time of deep release, connection to the ancestors and letting go of whatever no longer serves us. Mercury will station direct on 11/13, the same day that Venus stations direct. We will be in the opposite shadow of the Mercury retrograde until November 29th. For now, it’s time to put on our scuba gear and take the plunge into a deeper strata of consciousness.
